MINNEAPOLIS -- The chief executive officer of the Carlson Cos. will speak on his new approach to leadership, emphasizing shared decision making and social responsibility.
President and CEO Hubert Joly is scheduled to speak Thursday evening at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs in Minneapolis. It's free and open to the public.
Joly will discuss leadership challenges in the corporate world and what responsibilities private business leaders have to address public problems.
Joly became president at CEO of the Carlson Cos. in March 2008. Joly serves on the World Travel and Tourism Council, the board of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the executive committee of the Minnesota Business Partnership.
